Background of Summit
In the future, data and digitalization will be the life line for businesses. As per a survey conducted by SAP, 90% of those surveyed consider that digitalized transformation is extremely critical to their company’s overall business strategy, while 64% of those surveyed do not think that their company’s employees are equipped with skills needed to launch digitalized transformation.
How to commonly structure industry transformation and upgrade against the backdrop of a digital era? A summit titled “2018 Opportunities and Challenges for Enterprises Facing Transformation in Digital Era” will be hosted by Shanghai Yangliu Economic Development Center and executed by Entrepreneur Elite(International) Club, with Shanghai City Jiading District Economic Committee,Shanghai Jiading Science Technology Committee and People’s Government of Jiangqiao Town, Shanghai as the guiding institutes. Heavy weight keynote speakers from respective industries will analyze opportunities and challenges faced by enterprises during transformation from different perspectives of practical operation and corporate strategy.

Richard joined Microsoft in the right timing while Microsoft service is transforming and dedicating to support enterprise customer to achieve more success. He is leading and supporting the Microsoft Service team which covers China mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Prior the joining Microsoft, Richard has held senior management roles in business consulting, IT services and software companies for more than 20 years,most recently as the senior partner of Global Business Service and Vice President of Tiger Team in IBM Great China Group, the global sales vice president of HP China. Apart from his multinational working experience, Richard also had the experience in local high-tech companies to support them for the transformation, he was the president of Kingdee International Software Group,and the CEO of Hanergy PV Application Group.
Richard’s professional reputation and rich leadership experience in business consultancy and understanding about China enterprises will have a profound impact on our customers and driving the business.
Richard had a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Management from the University of Science and Technology of China, and Advanced Management Program AMP certificate from Harvard Business School.
Wolfgang Röhr, born 1948, has since 2014 been Senior Research Fellow at the German Studies Center of Tongji University. After studying and working as an assistant judge in Hamburg, Tübingen, Geneva and Rio de Janeiro he received a PhD in law from Hamburg University.
From 1978 to 2014 he was a member of the German Foreign Service, serving i. a. six years at the Political Department of the Embassy in Beijing, eight years as Consul General in Shanghai and six years in Berlin as Head of the East Asia Desk and as Ambassador and Head of the Task Force Germany-China. He also was posted to Geneva, New York, Tel Aviv, Hong Kong and Lisbon. He was a member of the German delegations to the United Nations, the Committee on Disarmament, NATO, the European Union and the Western European Union.

Jingkai Huang has a long term working experience in state and foreign enterprises. He has rich management experience and skills. He is awarded National Senior Professional Manager, serves as a Member of Shanghai Modern Management Association and a Shanghai university guest teacher.
Dueto Jingkai Huang’s excellent performance as GM, Shanghai Cable Works Import and Export Branch, he was awarded as Advanced Collective of Model Workers by Shanghai Government, Bureau Level Excellent Leader in Earing Foreign Exchange through Exports in 1994.
During working in foreign enterprise, Jingkai Huang contributes in company development and products upgrade, especially achieving historic leaps in development and progress as Legal Representative and Chairman of China Headquarter, which helps the company rank top 20 of Shanghai tax paying manufacturing enterprise.
Jingkai Huang acts as Vice Chairman of Shanghai Caohejing Hi-Tech Park Enterprise Association, takes a positive role in the coordinated development of regional enterprises and helps enterprises in the difficultiesand the sustainable development.
Michael is a veteran of semiconductor industry. He is with “The Hina Group” (a Finance & Investment company) as a Managing Director. Michael has been various executive positions (like EVP and CEO) in managing various types of sizable semiconductor companies, including EDA, chip design (ASSP/FPGA), Foundry, IDM and OSAT. Michael also has been with four start-up companies, One went IPO, two were acquired.
He has unique insight about market trend and business model. Michael is not only familiar with semiconductor technology and international hi-tech company management but also experienced in investment and M&A. He also served as independent board of director for different semiconductor companies. Michael was invited as speaker for IEEE and SEMI SOC tutorial several times. He published “IP Base SOC Design Methodology”. Michael received “Best Product Award” of EDN 94. He served as Chairman of CASPA of 2001~2002.
Michael received MSEE from Penn State University. He was the adjunct professor in SJSU and for Beijing Tsinghua and GCSD center at Stanford. He is holding guest professor for Shanghai ChiaoTong, Fudan University. He published several books and papers in the conferences.
Dr.Yongping Zhai has been working on energy development in Asia and Africa for 25 years. He is currently Chief of Energy Sector Group, Asian Development Bank (ADB), in charge of overall energy policy coordination and technical support to ADB energy sector operations. He is also in charge of developing energy sector knowledge work for ADB and interacts with worldwide energy sector knowledge partners.
Priorto his current position, Dr. Yongping Zhai was Director, South Asia Energy Division (2010-2015), ADB, covering energy sector operations in Bangladesh,Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka. In this capacity, he led ADB’s support to renewable energy, energy efficiency and power trade in South Asia.He also served as ADB’s Lead Energy Specialist (2008-2010), in charge of energy sector in Southeast Asia including Indonesia, Philippines, and the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS).
From 1993 to 2000, Dr. Zhai was a Principal Program Coordinator/Public Utilities Economist at the African Development Bank (AFDB) in charge of energy projects in Southern African Development Community (SADC). Between 1990 and 1993, heserved as an Assistant Professor at the Energy Technology Division (Energy Policy and Planning), Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Bangkok, Thailand.
Dr. Yongping Zhai graduated from the Thermal Energy Engineering Department, Tsinghua University, Beijing,China (1983) and received a Ph.D in Energy Economics from Institute of Energy Economics and Policy, affiliated with the University of Pierre-Mendès France in Grenoble, France (1989).
Mr. Amnon Bouthz is the Deputy General Manager for business optimization & Innovation in the Ramat Municipality, Israel.
As part of the local government administration in Israel, Amnon is one of the experts in "digital innovation" in the local government system or as we know it Smart City.
In the last 4 years, Mr. Bouthz has been leading the transformation in the Ramat-Gan Municipality of the digitization of the business process of local government, when it comes to bringing service to the citizens. Mr. Bouthz has been working in this field, after receiving his appointment from Mr. Israel Singer, the Mayor of the Ramat-Gan Municipality and has marked Ramat-Gan as one of the leading municipalities in Israel in the area of digital innovation of education under the optimization of the smart city education concept.
Mr. Booth’s work is based on agile management or as he refers to it "urban accelerator" and by promoting the DDI- Data Driven Innovation Methodology. Mr, Bouthz and the innovation team in Ramat-Gan has promoted the municipally BI as an assistant tool for making decisions.
Ms. Wei Lu is President of CDP Group, Member of NYU’s President’s Global Council, Managing Director of the Center for China &Globalization, Managing Director of Entrepreneur Elite (International) Club and Executive Director of HEC China’s Training Institute and Research Center on Women Leadership. Ms. Lu has launched China's new human resources business model, and has been nominated by the Chinese government as one of China's top business women. She was awarded the 2008 Special Award for Women's Leadership in Greater China by Ernst and Young China. She won the Stella Women Award for Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Excellence, and she has also been awarded the Top 100 Women Entrepreneurs Recognition Award by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and Women's Federations - a true benchmark for women leaders. As a pioneer in the human resources services industry, and with 20years professional experience covering areas such as human capital management,global operations, shared services and multi-industry business transformation of human resources, she has operated in North America and Greater China for companies including Capgemini, Deloitte, KPMG and Nortel, and has pioneered the new business model of human capital management and digital services in China.Ms. Lu holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Nankai University, a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, an Honorary Master's degree in Physiology from the University of Iowa and a California Financial Planning Consultant's License.

Under his leadership, his team assists with organizations with proficient skills and professional knowledge in the field of Digital Transformation,Fintech,Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Control, and IT Management.
Mr.Lan is also recognized as the Alumni Mentor by Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management in the Elite Project,teaching Management Courses for undergraduate students.
Gene Wang is responsible for business development activities of Bosch Software Innovations – the software division of the Bosch Group - in China. He spearheads and drives the business strategy in China and is adept atarticulating Bosch’s technology and IoT solutions to the Chinese Energy,Transportation, Manufacturing, Telecommunications and Logistic sectors. Prior joining Bosch Software Innovations, he held the positions of Strategic Alliance Director, and Smart Grid Sales Director at GE Energy in China.
Gene holds a degree from Southeast University, China with a major inprocess Automation of Electric Power Generation.
Nick Zhang has 17 years of experience in enterprise informatization and digital transformation. He was senior vice president of Shanghai HAND Information Technology Company.
In 2016, Nick Zhang established Helios, the deep ploughing of travel and reimbursement areas, to create a one-stop business travel and cost reimbursement management platform - Helios, with the power of the cloud, to help enterprises to realize the fine management of travel and costs.
